No More City, No More Story
August 26, 2010It is not that I decided to ditch the city to move to the countryside, nor ditch the countryside for the city. I just let go of both city and countryside, particularly UCCity and Country Story.
UCCity is my city in Social City. I had two cities when I left, but decided to turn them into huge flower gardens so that no homes were “unpopulated,” no factories were “unworked,” and no businesses were “unmaintained.” Later I will post some photos of these now-flower gardens.
I did not change anything in my Country Story since the crops don’t wither so I just left it at that. The fruits that fall from the ordinary and the magic trees rot, and the flies make annoying noises, but I just left the trees because they help make the whole farm pretty anyway, especially the magic trees.
Basically I left the games because it came to a point when they are starting to become “chorey” when I have to visit them. There is not much to do except expand and fill in what you expanded. Most of my neighbors have also stopped visiting their cities and countries a long time ago so there it takes a longer time to build anything since there is no one to help.
Social City was very exciting at first because it was like a Sims city or town, but apart from that, after a time, it gets boring. Country Story has really cute graphics but the planting, harvesting, and watering can be quite tedious and slow.
It was quite fun though while I still enjoyed them.
